We are always in need of foster homes for animals who are awaiting adoption.
You may have noticed some of our adoptable animals labeled as "currently awaiting placement". These dogs have been rescued by CSDR from various challenging circumstances and are temporarily staying in our "group homes." These foster homes have dedicated their homes and lives to serve as a transitional space for dogs recovering from their past hardships while they await a committed private foster home to continue their journey toward a forever family. However alike any other home, these too fill rather quickly bringing our efforts of saving animals in active need to a halt.
It takes time, energy, funding, love, and dedication to foster a single dog let alone multiple. By opening your home to one of these grateful companions, you are sure to be rewarded with an unforgettable experience.

This is a very common worry. Fortunately, us at Chasing Sunshine have a pretty straight forward answer that keeps us going ourselves every single day.
Each time a foster dog finds a forever home, it opens up space to save another dog, giving them the chance to show they too deserve a loving "fur-ever" family.
We at CSDR promise to provide every foster home and family with support throughout each individual journey. We even have a private facebook page exclusively for volunteers to share intimate experiences and advice through.
